Our Future

Picture taken by SJ2 Photography

I am so glad that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Last night, we stayed up  until midnight last night talking about what our future may hold. We know things don't always go as planned, but we're just excited about the possibilities and what we want in our lives.

Once Trav graduates we would like to:

*Move wherever Trav can find a job. We talked about where we might end up raising a family. We always thought we would move back to Indiana, but what if there is no job openings there? Could get our family to move where we are when they retire? I'm not sure if family/friends might do that, but we can hope that they would follow us if/when they'd have a chance. We actually talked about moving back to Phoenix (I was surprised about this conversation too). If we don't move there, Trav knows at least he wants to go back there to visit AZ during Spring Training season.
*Buy a house. At first, we talked about getting a small house, but the more talk about family and whatnot, we don't want a huge house, but we want enough room for us and a growing family. We also talked about how I have zero decorating skills, so we'd have to hire an interior decorator or just my bff, Kate (who is so creative!). We may even to buy some land and build a house on it.
*Go on a mission trip. We're not exactly sure where, but I'm sure God will lead us in the right direction.
*Travel. We want to be able to travel across the country and to a couple different countries before we begin having our family. We like to travel and spend time together, so this will be a nice adventure.
*Start a family. Our plans right now would consist of having two kids of our own, and adopting two others.
*Get involved. We want to join a study group where we fit in for both of us. I'd also like to volunteer at an animal rescue and whatnot or any other organizations to get involved in the community and help others (people, animals, or both)
*Start new traditions with friends and family.

Are we the only ones who talk about what we want in our future?
