We are packing up our cars today. This is the car we traded in our F-150. Reasons? Because we were still making payments on the truck AND it was a major gas hog. And because we are trying to get rid of any extra payments, we did a switch-a-roo for a 2013 Toyota Corolla that we call "Black Magic."
Black Magic is new and shiny. However, he is a stick. I've realized that I can't drive a stick. Alright, maybe, I can, it's just that I don't want to. I stall it all the time and it's jerky. It's jerky because of the person (I) driving it. Practice makes things better, but I avoid it in all ways. I think the only way I'll be driving it is back and forth from TN. Trav is so cute and got the windows tinted so I won't feel so embarrassed. I still feel embarrassed and get nervous whenever I have to stop or someone is behind me.
Speaking of TN, we're leaving for the 8-10 hour drive to get down there, tomorrow. We are doing our final walk-through and on Friday, we close. We're excited but nervous. Trav will be starting school, and I will be having to find a job. However, this time, I'm going to get a job that I actually like. And to be honest, I think I'm going to work retail, because it just suits my personality better. And we're going to go in debt no matter what, but once Trav gets out of school instead of going a couple months of debt (if I got a job making what I make now), we'll go into debt that lasts like 3 more months longer. I say it'll be worth it because my other job was miserable.
Anyways, wish us luck today and tomorrow as we have two small Toyota Corolla's we're going to be packing. It probably won't fit much as we'll probably have to ask people to bring us stuff with trips they may make out there, but we'll going to try. Also, please pray for safe driving, as we know a storm is making it's way across from Indiana and TN.
