By the time we arrived in Kaui, we were beat. Kaui is beautiful because of all the greenery. It includes one of the wettest areas on the planet. They have tons of waterfalls and lots of things to see. Since Travis has never been on the island of Kaui, we weren't sure where to go. So we mostly stayed in our cottage and loved every minute of it. We probably didn't go out too much because it was pretty crowded for the middle of October.
(The outdoor shower was my favorite part of the stay! Who knew?)
Waterfalls - The ones that I really wanted to see was the ones from the Blue Hole, however, to get there, you need a 4 wheeler or need to go with a tour guide. Our hot ride mustang wasn't going to allow us to go very far. If we ever go back, then we will def. be taking a tour there.
Beaches/Ocean Views - there are so many of them!
Rafting Tour of the Napali Coast - 6 hours included; tour ride, going inside tunnels, seeing famous beaches, snorkeling, lunch, visited an ancient Hawaiian village, saw wild dolphins riding along with the boat, etc. It was so worth it. Our favorite part while there.
Toured Napali Coast from above
Lots of beautiful scenery
